In this two-day wet-lab workshop you will dive into purification and analysis of viral vectors and nanoparticles using monolithic columns. Learn about the entire DSP procedure including capture and polishing steps, all supported by the PATfix® analytical toolbox for quick and efficient process development. Sartorius BIA Separations experts will perform chromatographic runs using real samples in the BSL2 laboratory.

You will learn:

• How to optimize AAV USP and monitor production batches using PATfix AAV Switcher
• Important points for successful sample preparation and chromatographic purification of AAV
• The difference in chromatographic profiles between monolith ligands (AEX and MM) and various AAV serotypes
• What is usual serotype specific optimization for DSP
• How to analyse and quantify AAV subpopulation using multidetector analytics
• Advanced AAV subpopulation analysis by ultra centrifuge profiling
• Extracellular vesicle isolation process from cell culture supernatants with process monitoring
• How to concentrate Adenovirus and purify it from host cell impurities, with status tracking of the product throughout the process
• How to achieve endotoxin reduction in a two-step bacteriophage purification process with analytical support for fast in process results
