AAV Downstream Processing: From Theory to Practice

MSS2026

1.) Course Description

This immersive 2-day hands-on training focuses on the purification of AAV using monolith columns. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into the entire DSP procedure, including the capture and polishing steps, all supported by analytical HPLC tools to facilitate efficient process development. Chromatographic runs will be conducted in a BSL2 laboratory using real samples, guided by our monolith experts.

2.) Who Should Attend

◾︎Process Development Professionals
◾︎Research & Development Teams

3.) Key Learnings

◾︎Essential techniques for successful sample preparation and chromatographic purification of AAV.
◾︎Step-by-step method design for AAV capture and polishing.
◾︎Understanding column capacities and strategies to manage sample variability in DSP.
